Gibson ES-330
Black Satin, Bigsby, Duncan Benedetto
Sold
The guitar sounds open and warm, with a balanced frequency range, and is very comfortable to play. With the Seymour Duncan Benedetto A6 Jazz pickups, it now has a wonderful, woody tone - perfect for jazz or blues
This especially attractive ES-330 has the beautiful color Black Satin which makes her look elegant and impressive, especially with the gold hardware.
She is in excellent condition and a real eye catcher: Only two years old, she looks nearly like new, mostly without scratches and with only very little wear.
The neck is straight, action perfect and the frets are like new. No breaks, damages or repairs. This guitar is a real beauty and has a killer sound!
The legendary Gibson ES-330 became famous when Grant Green recorded a lot of his iconic albums with it. Since the guitar has no center block, the sound is noticeably more acoustic that that of an ES-335. The ES-330 has a 43mm (1 11/16") nut width and a rounded C neck profile wich makes the glued-on one-piece mahogony neck very comfortable and fun to play.
The previous owner equipped this beauty (that originally was born as a standard ES-330) with the high quality Seymour Duncan Benedetto A6 Jazz pickups, a B7 Bigsby and a complete set of golden hardware. The redish toroise pickguard was replaced with a brandnew black one.
This make her totally unique: The stylish combination gold/black looks gorgeous and the pickups that are some of the best in the market make her sound fantastic.
If you are a blues or jazz player looking for an extravagant, stylish and high quality guitar this is a unique gem for you - the ES-330 Gibson never built.
Comes with the original case in good condition.
